Direct Care Resources provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) for people with high-intensity and complex needs across Toowoomba. Our homes are designed to prioritise safety, comfort, and dignity – supported by a team experienced in clinical and therapeutic care.
As an NDIS-registered provider, we work closely with participants, families, and support networks to deliver personalised support that empowers participants to thrive. From 24/7 assistance to behaviour support, every plan is developed in line with best-practice standards and tailored to their goals.
Disability Services
Toowoomba Supported Independent Living
Direct Care Resources delivers supported independent living through our unique Extended Care Model designed to give participants 24-hour assistance. Under this model, a dedicated staff member stays with the client for five (5) to seven (7) days at a time, according to individual requirements.
Each participant is supported by a two-person care team, ensuring that a reserve staff member can step in quickly if illness or emergencies occur. As a registered NDIS provider, we maintain the highest standards of disability support, assisting people living with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities to achieve greater independence and quality of life.
Toowoomba Community Programs
Our inclusive community programs are designed to foster meaningful connections and enrich daily life. Participants can engage in creative, physical, and culturally inspired activities in safe, welcoming environments.
Events encourage creativity, movement, and a connection with the natural world. Many activities celebrate Indigenous heritage, giving participants opportunities to connect or reconnect with the culture of Australia’s First Nations people.
