We’ve been supporting Queensland communities since 1998.

Founded by Dr Waynne Videroni and Aaron McCarty, DCR was built on a simple belief: people deserve stable, consistent care delivered with dignity and respect.

From day one, Direct Care Resources (DCR) set out to improve the quality of support available to children, young people, and individuals living with disability. Instead of the traditional rotating‑shift model, DCR pioneered a more consistent, relationship‑based approach that creates a safe, family‑like environment. Many of our Support Workers have supported the same individuals for over 20 years, a reflection of the stability at the heart of our service.

Today, DCR operates across South East Queensland, providing residential and community-based support that helps people feel safe, valued, and understood. We hold a state-wide licence with the Queensland Government, Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety, and are fully accredited with the NDIS, DSOA, NIISQ, and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

With more than 27 years of service and over 85 homes under our care, DCR continues to be trusted by government, families, and the communities we support. Our mission is to create safe spaces, build meaningful connections, and help every person we work with feel a sense of stability and belonging.
