Gold Coast Supported Independent Living
Our Extended Care Model sets Direct Care Resources apart in the delivery of our supported independent living. This approach ensures we provide around the clock assistance, with a dedicated support worker living with the participant for an average of five (5) to seven (7) days, depending on individual requirements.
Every participant benefits from a two-person care team, with one acting as a reserve to maintain continuity of care if illness or emergencies arise. As a registered NDIS provider, we uphold the highest standards of disability support, assisting people living with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
Gold Coast Community Programs
Our community programs are designed to create meaningful social connections that aim to enrich the lives of participants. These inclusive initiatives give people with disabilities the chance to enjoy creative, active, and culturally engaging activities in a safe and welcoming environment.
Developed with guidance from a participant-led advisory panel, programs run across hubs throughout the Gold Coast and South East Queensland. Weekly guides keep support workers informed of upcoming activities, ensuring participants can easily access events suited to their interests and accessibility needs.
Each event encourages creativity, physical activity, and cultural engagement, including the celebration of Australia’s First Nations people.

While we don’t have any current vacancies, we’re actively working with Support Coordinators to identify and secure suitable homes for participants. Our recent vacancy in Capalaba, Redlands is a good example of the types of homes we offer—safe, supportive, and tailored to individual needs.
