Logan Supported Independent Living

Direct Care Resources offers a unique approach to supported independent living in Logan through our Extended Care Model. This model ensures around the clock care, with a dedicated staff member living alongside the participant for an average of five (5) to seven (7) days, depending on individual needs.

Each of our clients is supported by a two-person care team, with one staff member as a back-up to provide continuity in the event of illness or an emergency. This structure guarantees Direct Care Resources unwavering focus on client wellbeing.

As a registered NDIS provider, Direct Care Resources delivers disability care services that meet the highest standards. Our team supports people living with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities, helping them to achieve greater independence.

Logan Community Programs

Our community programs are designed to enrich the lives of participants by creating meaningful opportunities to connect and engage in soaicl environments. We provide inclusive and enjoyable activities that provide people with disabilities an equal opportunity to build friendships and explore new interests.

Community program activities are designed with input from a participant advisory panel and are offered at hubs and locations across Logan and South East Queensland. Weekly activity guides help support workers stay informed about upcoming events, ensuring participants can join in a variety of experiences tailored to different accessibility needs and personal interests.

Direct Care Resources’ events encourage creativity, movement, and connection to culture and nature. Many of our activities also incorporate Indigenous programming to celebrate and share the heritage of Australia’s First Nations people, helping participants connect or reconnect with our countries rich culture.
